Carter R. Brown is a family law attorney licensed in both Texas and New Mexico. Carter is resident of Castroville, Texas and maintains a presence in both Medina County and Bexar County. As a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas, Carter substantially exceeds the annual continuing education requirements of the legal profession.
Carter received his undergraduate degree (B.B.A.) from Texas A&M University as a member of the Corps of Cadets. Carter earned his Masters of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Sul Ross State University, and was selected as a member of the Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society.
Carter graduated from St. Mary’s University School of Law where he received his Juris Doctor (J.D.). Following a judicial internship to the Honorable Justice Marialyn Barnard of the Texas Fourth Court of Appeals, Carter volunteered for the Office of Attorney General Child Support Division. After his experience with Bexar County Child Support Division, Carter joined The Law Offices of Clinton F. Lawson where concentrates on family law practice.
Outside of law, Carter is a member of both the San Antonio Conservation Society, Castroville Conservation Society, Medina County Historical Commission, and Port Aransas Preservation & Historical Association.
